Who has done H/C, etc. on the new LT1??
I got rid on my 09Z which had about 630hp at the motor and am bouncing around for what's next: P-car, ACR, Z06, Grand Sport, or maybe a 720S if only AAPL can double once again. ; /
The C7Z's have that certain "overheating" issue and the Grand Sport is now many people's choice, but it needs....I need, ok WANT more power.
I know Katech makes a 700+ hp motor, but it's no way CA smog friendly.
If someone's close to Z06 power with their LT1 please please chime in and share the dirty details.
Thanks

Have done a few. Its a bit more expensive because all the Gen V engines need a DOD delete as well as VVT phaser components and usually use a more expensive cam core with OD fuel pump lobe. You can make about 525whp on 91 octane with a H/C/I LT1 though and the tq is really good when the VVT is done right ( cam design and tuning).

oh oh oh me me me LOL. I made 615rwhp with a A&A kit (smog legal), meth kit, and a cat back. I was trapping 134-135 mph at the track while the fastest C7Z hit 131mph if I remember correctly. I am now going to the dark side and adding a set of long tube headers, high flow catted x pipe, 3.6 pulley, and add a second nozzle to my meth kit. I would love to see 700rwhp+ and I don't see a reason why not to.

I am by far not fast. I want to max out this car and see what it can do. It is a fun car now I wish I would have put slicks on it when we were all at the track, but to run as she did on street tires says a lot. I don't think there was another street tire car running as strong as most were all on DR's or slicks.
