Sonoma Magic #2 Pre Entry list & Sign Ups Here
Thanks once again to Chuck Gerughty for securing Sunday, November 26 at Sonoma Raceway for Sonoma Magic #2
Again just as we did a few Wednesdays ago, 2 different classes both automatic and stick shift types with the winner of each advancing to the overall final and the track champion award.
Fellow announcer Garry Carlson has agreed to create one of his specialty trophies to the events champion in addition to what the track will be adding.
Gates open at 7 AM, practice/time runs at 8:30 with final round eliminations set for 12:30 PM (approximate)
Help spread the word, this could become a annual event if there is enough interest.
If you are planning to enter, just add your name plus your home town, year and transmission type to the pre entry list.

Steve Woods is the latest entry for Sonoma Magic#2 set for Sunday, November 26 at Sonoma Raceway
To date, all entries are equipped with automatic transmissions which has surprised me. I am sure there must be some manually shifted types out there lurking some where for the stick shift class that have yet to sign up?
Should know more when the Wednesday night drags at Sonoma returns on September 20th and the 27th

Thanks Chuck, you have been added.
Handed out a few fliers tonight at the weekly Wednesday night drag races at Sonoma that you were kind enough to make up.
Fellow announcer Garry Carlson will soon start on the big specialty trophy which will be awarded to the overall champion show down run off between the automatic and manually shifted class champions.

I'm going to have to bow out of this... I'm showing my car at the SF Auto Show, and I don't get the car back until Monday the 27th... I was sooo looking forward to this meet too! I'll catch you guys on the next one!

Have fun at the car show and enjoy yourself. At least you are doing something that makes you happy and that's what life's all about
There will be another times for drag racing at Sonoma with your friends in the Corvette community. I am in hopes that Chuck can secure a few race dates for the 2018 season.
Thanks for letting me know in advance.

Thanks for your inquiry...
Since performance levels can vary from one car to another, it is a bracket type event all based on individual ET's decided by each driver.
