looking for recommendation for windshield replacement (not on corvette). Company that can do this in driveway

Just about every automotive glass company has mobile service. If your insurance in involved ask them to recommend someone they are familiar with. They should know who the good ones are.

The only other advice I have is if your insurance allows it, demand OEM parts only.

You have to tell the company you have HUD or not. Although I don't think there is any harm if you get the HUD glass on a non-HUD corvette. You just end up paying more since the HUD glass was more expensive.

Most later model cars have the auto sensor wiper near the rear view mirror. Make sure the sensor is re-attached correctly to the glass like window film. Dealers sell the adhesive clear strip or clean the sensor and add clear RTV before reinstalling the sensor. Just pulling it off and pressing it against the glass isn't going to work.
