Default Looking for an audio shop recommendation (Bay Area)

I'm looking to overhaul the audio system in my C6 Z (front rear speakers, subwoofer, amp, head unit, the whole deal) and I'm finding that a lot of audio shops are either inexperienced in opening up the C6's door panels (drilled in screws, shitty re-assembly) or are unaware of the weird self amplified way the front speakers on the C6 are set up.

I've heard really good things about Abel Chevy but unsure if they can do audio jobs.

I'm really looking for a shop that is experienced in doing full audio swaps on C6s in the bay area. Do you guys have any good recommendations?

I don't have any recommendations but I doubt a Chevy dealer would be able to do this. BTW I do use Abel and they are great but I never heard of them doing stereo work unless it was maybe stock.

Sound Innovations in Union City is amazing. I'd check with them.

I haven't been to him myself, yet, but Rockstar Audio here in Livermore is suppose to be amazing. It's a one man shop and the guy seems to take a lot of pride in his work and very knowledgeable. Might be a bit of a drive, but give him a call. Great Yelp reviews as well.

I used to own a stereo shop in the Bay Area and know most of the good installers.
my recommendation is also auto sound tint world. Ask for Joe.

I took a Toyota Tacoma to Caracoustics in San Jose for a complete sound deadener/stereo install. Pretty nervous as that requires a complete interior tear out and the amount of damage they could do is pretty big. That was ~5 years ago. You still can't tell the interior was pulled out and replaced. All the clips/screws are still tight, no rattles, squeaks or poor fitment.

Road noise was reduced significantly and the stereo sounds great. Howard, the owner, is great to talk to and really knows his stuff.

IDK if he has done any vettes, though he probably has. Definitely worth a drive by and talk if you're in the area.
