Default Ticking sound when cold

I have a 2017 Stingray and when she is cold, if I turn off the radio I can hear it in the cockpit. It sounds like a quick tick, tick, tick. I opened the hood, maybe coming from the alternator?? Only 2100 miles on it. Any suggestions CF friends?

Could also be a very minor exhaust manifold leak as well

That's where it will go. I just figured I'd see if anyone had the same experience. My C5 had the lifter noise.

More than likely what you're hearing is the high pressure fuel pump. It is driven off the camshaft and makes a mechanical
tick tick tick" noise that is most evident at idle.
