Just installed the MGW shifter on my C7. HUGE difference, very much worth the price ($360) and effort to install. Install went perfectly but it's quite tricky (shift collar removal, dynamat/heatshield application, lower shifter box alignment, upper rubber boot install). Spent a good hour aligning and more importantly understanding how the lower shifter box mounts to car. Once you understand it, you'll know how to align it perfectly.

Pineapple, thank you again for all the hard work on my car. Now that most of the items are taken care of the car feels more enjoyable. Special thanks for fixing that “...” loose speaker contact in the door. That is the speaker that all chimes and warnings sound thru. Including exceeding speed limit

You're very welcome! Happy to hear the speakers fixed. Luckily your diff fluid was filled up correctly at the factory, but it is about time to swap in new fluid though. It was pleasure meeting you and thanks for the . Keep in touch my friend.

Installed Z51 sway bars on my base 2LT today! Took about 2 hours. Straightforward install.

Yup, 2016+ 2LT/3LT’s come standard with front parking cameras.

I’ll be helping a member install an aftermarket front parking camera on his C7Z soon.

Yup, split left/right and a top down view image (interposed video from both cameras).

Finished my stereo and rear and front camera install today. Everything back together. I'e heard people putting in mgw shifter during the stereo install since console is off. How do u like it. I don't like the idea of removing console all over again lol. But curious to know how it works.

Thanks, ever so slightly stiffer in normal driving and noticeably reduced body roll on highway ramps. Haven’t testing it in the mountains yet.

IMO the MGW shifter is probably my favorite mod I’ve done on my C7 so far, Z06 grille being the second. I didn’t think such a relatively simple mod could make such a bit difference in the enjoyment of driving the car, but it has. Install is nearly the same between a C6 and C7, only difference being the center console removal. Here’s a quick review I did of the shifter:

Thank you for the kind words . I’m always happy to meet local car enthusiasts. Not sure how helpful I can be but I’m happy to help where I can. Anything in particular you’d like to know more about?

I’m currently in Korea for business (typing this on my phone in the hotel) but I’ll be back this Sat. I’m planning to drive around Sunday afternoon. Not sure how your schedule is like but maybe we could catch up then?

Wow Pineapple! I am in Michigan but Thank You Pineapple for being a blessing to the local Corvette owners with completing or learning how to do mods, maintenance and fixing problems.

This is truly amazing that you have the passion for tinkering with cars but more importantly you are sharing your gifts and talents with others!

I salute you as it is people like you that give us all hope that humanity still exist among our brothers and sisters.
