Default Alignment/suspension shop in East bay

Hello

I just moved to the Bay area. I'm looking for a shop that can do some suspension related work like replacing lowering bolts, fixing the rake and alignment for my C6 Z06 (in or around Hayward / Union City if possible).

I have heard of Rich @ Abel but I'd like to avoid the drive for simple issues such as this.

Also if anyone has had any luck with a shop that can help address rattling noises (I know its probably a fools errand chasing rattles on a C6) that would be awesome!

Thanks in advance.

Try Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley. That's what they do.

I can second Roger Kraus Racing... they worked on my other car a few years ago (tires and alignment) and I was happy with the service/results. I now use Abel for the C7, but that's because they're closer (I've moved) and are doing other service work at the same time.

Let us know how it went. I had them do my C5 years ago. Recently got a C6. Seems I'll have to pay them a visit soon...

Will do. I'm waiting on my lowering bolts to get here. I will call them sometime this week.

Just called Roger Kraus today. Looks like they don't do any suspension work other than alignment. Seems to be a recent change.

What do you plan on doing with the car. Any track days? Autox ?
Or just backroad driving ?

Yes abel is a drive. But if you make an early appoint with them you can be home by 1. Service opens early so Leave early eat in and get out and get home. Most likely miss all the traffic.

Have richies crew drive you in town for some breakfast and walk it off back to the dealer. They have a brand new top of the line alignment setup and their alignment guys do a great job.

Your gonna get what ya pay for. There’s a reason your not getting other recommendations.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I'm probably gonna take the car to Richie at this point.

As for driving habits - about 80% daily driving / backroads, 20% autox

You could try trackspec in fremont. I don't have personal experience, but a friend has and recommends.
