Diff Build in NorCal??? Where in the Sacramento area?
OK, just bought a set of 4.10 gears I want to swap into my 97' 6 speed. Anybody know a good shop in the Sac area that can handle a gear swap/rebuild on a Corvette diff?
Obviously it has a single rib. I was thinking of upgrading some parts with the gear swap. Will read up and see what to order. C6 Z06 parts I believe. Also, will a single rib be fine with a DTE brace and Pfadt mount? Only doing heads/cam and expect in the 430/450 range. Don't plan to abuse it at the track with slicks and hard launches. But will have spirited drives and the random smoke show. Will a single rib be fine?

(I have my original 3 Rib if you need a core along with C6 Z06
shafts, my Eaton Posi came with an extra set.) I use the Pfadt
mount and the ECS brace). Not sure the strength differential
between 1 rib and 3 rib cases but your brace & mount will
definitely help.

Including brand new left & right C6 Z06 Out Put Shafts.
Diff is in great shape, replaced when I had New Diff & T56
Rebuilt from cores prior to having new much more
Powerful Engine installed.
That is the best way IMO. Build cores & eliminate the down time!
Sell your original after, good upgrade for auto car.
