Let’s not forget that Carrie also had an AMAZING weekend in her ZR1 here’s Richie’s recap below mine. And some pics from the weekend.
WOW. What a weekend.
And When all said and done Richie Drove his *** off to win 8 trophy’s. A bunch of cash a few gift certificates and a few jackets and batteries and I know I’m missing a few things. Lol
The car was on fire. And the driver was hands down the best out there.
And as for Carrie she and phyllis are becoming one. She is really loving her new ZR1. She kicked a lot of the best drivers on the circuit *** this weekend. Even an Unser.

WOW what a weekend at #LSfest West. I am beyond thrilled to say we brought home the win and nearly had a clean sweep on all competitive events in Grand Champion. We won road course, 3S Challenge, auto cross overall, along with both shootouts. Results aren't in for drag race, but I think I was 4th.
I am amazed at how perfect the car was handling all weekend and I literally changed nothing except for a couple pounds of tire pressure. We had the "set on kill" setup from last LS Fest and it was working.
I'll have more to add later, but it's been a loooonggg weekend, I'm tired and I need a drink.
Thanks to all our friends, family and sponsors that make this happen. It was so fun hanging with some of our favorite car folks, but I wish some of the folks from the other side of the country made it out.
I also can't even express how proud I am of Carrie Willhoff for how well she drove this weekend. On top of running her #Racechick booth all weekend, she finished 4th on the road course, 7th in auto cross and 6th in speed stop. She also made the #SuperChevy high noon shoot on Friday.
Thanks to Logan Palmer for all the help today and also to George for snacks, photos and help on grid all weekend. Big thanks to all the people at FM3, OPTIMA Batteries and Holley who worked their asses off in the heat to make this happen.

Thanks guys. It was a perfect weekend and yes, we took home the overall win in everything except drag racing (which I don't care about or try to win). We made a couple conservative passes to get on the board, but made sure to limp the car off the line and try not to break anything that could take me out for the rest of the weekend. As you all know, these cars are not made for the drag strip.
Final results will be posted in a few days with all the actual times at each event, but perfect car set up, perfect strategy and me finally feeling like I was on my game behind the wheel all helped bring home the win!
Who did he had to beat this year? The usual suspects, Danny and Mike Dusold? Congrats Rich.
Danny and Mike weren't out here this year. The rest of the usual suspects were all in attendance though. My very own RaceChick, Jordan Priestley, Jake Rozelle, Logan Palmer, Duke Langley, Glen Barnhouse, Robbie Unser, Ken Thwaits, etc...
