Default Have you wanted Competition Seats in your C7 and live in NORCAL we have a gem

Since the day I bought my C7 I always wished I got the competition seat package. Not because I race but for the CF bezel HAHAHA. Well I used to troll a post where guys discussed the conversion. Last month I seen a completed seat by PINEAPPLE (Aaron) and I immediately told myself "If this guy lives in nor/cencal and willing to do my seats I am ordering the kit." Well hot damn the boy lived in San Jose. We exchanged a couple texts and last Sunday I dropped the car off. The wife and I then headed to Santana Row (first time ) and holy sheep chit they were having a car show. LOL I came back 5 hours later and damn Aaron transformed my whole interior. His work is second to none and his attention to detail (wrinkles, etc) is unmatched. Listen this guy doesn't have a vacuum in the garage so I caught him using blue painters tape trying to pickup any debris before putting the seats back in. WOW SO if you are contemplating this setup give Niko a call over at trunk monkey and ping Aaron. You will love it. Aaron you are the man!!!! Do you want to install my kooks headers to LOL

Great to know! I have been looking at this for a while.

Any idea what is going on with Trunk Monkey? I have tried to reach out for a while with no luck and I noticed they are no longer supporting vendors.

I am looking for someone who could improve the seats in my C6. The driver's seat has really become uncomfortable for me.

Miguel- I have no idea what's going on. I have ordered a few things from them and all have been great experiences. I know that when I placed this last order some of the stuff wasn't in stock but Niko was always available and kept me in the loop?

Dave- I don't think Aaron is an upholster, just great at following instructions, patient, and did a great job with this "kit".

Thanks Paul I appreciate it. Several of us are making a run up to Tahoe this weekend so we shall see how they feel on a road trip. Wife was complaining on the way home that she felt the bolsters were pushing her lats out to much and she is thin. Should be interesting

I agree and he even gave us great ideas of what to do with our time.

Hey Teddy, what comes in the kit, to covert them to comp seats? Where do you buy the kit from? Thanks.

Was hesitant at first when I got my C7 to get the competition seats, but glad I did...I love them.

Looks good. Picture makes it seem the seat bottom is stained and I thought to myself "WTF happened to my seat" HAHA Yes I am glad I did it. With our big trip on Sat lets see how they are in a long road trip.

Paul heres the exact kit I ordered- https://www.trunkmonkeyparts.com/cor...it?parent=1163

Are your seats full leather? Mine have the suede inserts.

That explains that. LOL No I am full leather "2LT" package. I love the look of 3LT but with no other suede in my interior and no desire to change my bottom cushions I opted to keep just as is.
