Default Looking for a performance shop in the bay area/sacramento area.

Hello fellow vette lovers,

I am looking for a shop that can install and tune one of the bolt on supercharger setups for my '15 Z51 7M. I live out of state but will be in the central valley/bay area for a wedding for around 10 days in April and feel getting this done in Cali is a much better idea than my home state of Montana. I am just looking for a bolt on kit install (maybe procharger?) and a full 91 octane dyno tune. Looking for a reputable shop as the tune is everything on this kind of setup.

Thanks in advance!

Contact Matt from GP Tuning (lt1z here on the forum), he can provide the tune. Abel Chevrolet in Rio vista can do the installation.

ya mean something like this. Lol. Abel is really the only place that understands how all this Mod work and customer service game works. See my signature.

You can’t forget Rick at Synergy Motorsports in Livermore. He does a lot of work on tuning the Corvettes and GM products as well.

Thanks for all the referrals everyone. To the OP, do you know what brand of supercharger kit you're looking to install? We're a Magnuson dealer and have a lot of experience installing them, but we've also installed just about every other brand of blower on the market. Feel free to PM me with any details or questions you have. We'd be happy to set something up and provide a complimentary loaner car while we work on your Corvette.

This muffler setup is for sound check for race tracks such as Laguna Seca. The Sound test booth is located on the right side of the track at this specific turn so most loud cars get exhaust setups that turn the noise away from the sound station.

Exactly right. That particular car has a 480 CID Katech engine in it and it made some noise. The customer needed to be able to run at Laguna so we fabricated a second set of 2 stage Burns Stainless mufflers that he could add to the mufflers under the car. It seriously knocks the noise down and allows him to have fun at Laguna.

exactly right..... laguna sound check is on the right and so is thunder hill....however the sound check at laguna is much tighter at 92db for most events.....I recall thunder hill being 105db...but haven’t been there in a while

Thunder Hill is 104 and depending on weather, I often need to install my turn down pipes as well.

Nope. It's a song.

Not as good as my other license plate, but that's ok.

Hi Rich sorry it took so long to get back, real life got in the way of my toys for a while. I ended up purchasing an A&A standard kit with the following specs:

A&A C7 Corvette Supercharger

  • Head Units:V3 Si - Standard
  • Pulley Size:4.0" - Standard
  • Balancer Size:7.65" - Standard

I am so beyond excited to get this done! Thank you all again for the recommendations, I feel that I will be in good hands.

After being a part of many toxic car communites over the years I must say the corvette community just feels like something much more special and good.

Thank you all and I hope to be a member for a long long time!

I hope you enjoy your new supercharger kit!

What kind of driving do you plan on doing with it?
