Abel Chevrolet's 11th Annual Car Show Saturday May 18, 2019
It's getting close to that time of year again. Saturday May 18th is the date for our 11th annual all GM car show at Abel Chevrolet. As usual, we're expecting 300+ cars. The show will be from 10am - 2pm and the format will be the same as the last couple years. No trophies, no judging, just a lot of very cool people with incredible cars all hanging out.
I expect that we will have more cars this year because of all the great customers we have. The show is open to ALL GM cars, trucks and SUVs so tell your friends and have them sign up. New or old, we don't care and we would love to have them on display
The local Rotary Club will offering lunch and we will be providing refreshments for everyone. All proceeds from the food sales will go back to the community.
There is also the possibility we might do something different with food, but one way or another there will be food.
Please post up if you're coming so we have a head count for food and parking. The registration is open and posted on our website. Please register your car, tell us a little about it and you'll have something to print out and leave on your dash. It will also give us a number of people attending. Last year we had over 300 registrations so let's get a few more this year and make it the biggest one yet!
***Please do not show up multiple hours early to try and save a parking spot. We will open the parking lot as close to 10 am as possible and we don't want traffic backed up on the bridge at 9am***
I am sure that additional threads will be posted for meet up spots and cruise locations for people to travel together. Please do not plan to arrive earlier than 9am because we will have the parking lot locked up. We always do our best to allow parking with your club or group, but arriving together makes that a lot easier. Remember, this is just for fun!!
Registration is open. Please only register once and follow the link to print after you've registered. It will also give you the option to search for a previous registration in case you're not sure if it went through. Please try that before creating another registration.
As always, we will have shirts for everyone that registers online and brings a car to the show.
Bummer.. It's the same weekend as Sacramento Chapter SCCA's autocross at Thunderhill. 😞

I know. Every year there is a conflict with other events like AAS or SCCA or... We've held the car show on the same weekend for 11 years just in case people want to plan around it, but there's always a conflict.
