I can tell you stay far away from Performance off Madison. Lazy terrible service, take the trip to Abel, its a fun drive too. They chipped my splitter, left oil splatter all over my car, and didn't bother to cover my fender during an oil change. I have no idea about Kuni...

Sorry one more for...... worth a 2 hour drive each way for 500 mile service and anything else that comes up that I don't want to handle. Trying to talk the wife into that red C7 to replace her C6........

I seriously doubt there is another GM Dealership in the Country... let alone Northern CA that will take as good of care
of your Corvette (this includes Service & Expertise!) as Abel Chevrolet. 90 miles each way for me from SW of SF,
Very enjoyable drive (always on the road up by 6:30 AM counter-commute almost the whole way).
Always a Great Experience, Everyone up there is a pleasure to interact with, Service, Sales, and even the friendly
pooch. If you want the Best for your Corvette, You want Abel.

Yeah the only other Chevy dealership/person I would let touch my corvette is in Ohio. And that’s because that’s where Danny Popp works and he’s great friends and racing buddies of Richie’s at Abel.
And for warranty work there’s no one better than Richie.

I use to drive to Abel from Plumas Lake. I have taken my Corvettes to other dealers including Wheeler in Yuba City, Gold Rush in Auburn, John L. Sullivan in Roseville, Performance in Sacramento, and the one in downtown Sacramento, I don't remember the name now, and there is a reason why I made the drive to Abel Rio Vista. I care what happens to my care and I want it perfect. I am real **** about how my car gets treated. Even for an oil change on all my Corvettes and Dually Diesel, I would drive to Abel. Besides driving all the way to Abel for an oil change it gave me an opportunity to swap lies with Rich.
I will "NEVER" take my car to Wheeler, Gold Rush, and Performance Chevrolets.
Just in case if you're wondering why I said "I used to" is because I live in Arizona now and in search of an "Abel" in the Phoenix/West Valley Areas.

It's worth the drive and ABEL still retains that small town dealership environment (personal) vs. (unpersonal at other dealerships who don't care).
At Abel you can communicate directly with the mechanic that works on your car and get to know the staff.

I really like all the staff at Abel, including the dog. I do remember one day coming home after having my Corvette serviced at Abel. They did a good job, but I felt kind of tired. It had been very foggy in the Rio Vista area on the way up, and there was moderate traffic on the way home. I just felt I shouldn't have to be driving this far for a basic repair.
I empathize with the OP.

I have actually had some decent work completed by them without problems. I try and have all my work done at Abel, however their service department not being open on Saturday is a real pain for us that work Monday through Friday. It just depends on what work I'm having done.

I make the 80 mile drive up there and they're nice enough to give me a ride to/from public transit. It's a looong day when I need to go there, but it's way better than a quick drive and a screwed up diagnosis/repair/etc. Worth it.
