Default Any Norcal Dealers on the c8 tour?

I wouldn't be surprised if no one did it, the price is obscene, though I thought I'd ask if anyone knows if any nor cal dealers are doing the tour?

GM was supposed to have released a list yesterday but we haven't seen it yet.

My colleague came to work bragging yesterday that his buddy who works at Winter in Pittsburgh called him and said one of the test mules was on a truck and the driver let everyone check it out. He said it still had all the camo on it, but he was able to sit in it. Pretty cool. I was jealous. Waiting the 8 months for its wow factor to wear off and placing an order.

Quite a few of us drove to Santa Ana and attended the owner's event the day after the reveal. Similar talks by Tadge and others, one-on-one with various GM reps and the ability to sit in the cars. Waiting to see if it will be in the Bay Area so I can see it again.

For those of us sweltering in the central San Joaquin Valley, Stone in Tulare will have the C8 on 9/4/19.

Over on the C8 forum someone posted an email from GM saying that C8 would be on display in the paddock at the Rolex Reunion at Laguna Seca.

Pics are up on the C8 forum. One of the cut up cars and a bronze car are being unloaded at Laguna Seca.

If you can make it the Reunion is a really fun event, and Thursday/Friday tickets are pretty cheap and not crowded.

Plus it's IMSA this year, so tons of cool Corvette Racing including historical cars on the track.

So did anyone see the car at Boardwalk? I’m glad it wasn’t roped off. Gave me a chance to sit in it and learn a little surprise. I believe there’s less headroom than the C7. I’m almost 6’4” and probably longer in the torso. When I sat in the C8 and leaned back, the halo bar got me in the middle of the back of my head. On previous Corvettes, only the top of my head will touch the bar, which I can angle the seat to work around. The handler from GM (I think that’s what he was) didn’t want anymore moving the seats. But I had to believe the seat was already set all the way down.

The seat was all the way down and back as far as it will go.
It was also still broken. It’s been broken for a while.

I'm a little bummed I didn't go. I tried messaging Boardwalk to see if they were letting people sit and I didn't get a response. It's so far from me I didn't want to drive a couple hours to just look at it since I had seen it at Laguna Seca.

Not a huge deal, seems like everyone who fits in a c7 hasn't had trouble with c8.

Thanks for the pics. Great color!
