It sucked.
So when I got the DVD, I tried again ----- much better.
My first home theater wasn't even STEREO.

Open Range is the title...and yes the gun shots are the most realistic sounding close range shots I have heard on any movie. I'm using a M&K S-150 THX 7.1 with 2 M&K 150 subs and you can feel the concusion from the gun shots.

I picked up 'Heat' the same day I purchased my Onkyo system specifically for that reason

the scene in 'Troy' when Achillies and Hector are fighting is good for highs too...

The scene in Castaway when the cargo jet crashes into the ocean makes my whole house shake. Good test of your systems ability to handle a wide dynamic range.

The highway chase scene from the first terminator movie. Also the movie Driven, those Indy racing scenes.

WTH...this a 2008 thread....I was wondering why most movies mentioned seemed like old ones.

Miss Piggy's posts.

To add to the thread: The Dark Knight when Joker blows up the Hospital. Pretty sure my neighbors hate that scene.
