I really can't say anything, my '71 is Ontario Orange.

Obviously they didn't spend a lot of time prettying up the engine bay, huh? If there were any more hoses draped across the engine, I swear it was installed upside down!

I like the fuzzy covers!

I really want a 240 project car. Drop in either an LSx or an RB26DETT.

Finally sold my wife's '83 280ZX to her nephew last summer. 5 speed - Nakamichi stereo, she loved it, I hated it. White with red guts. t-tops with goofy locks and warped insert panels. Had 123k and things would break every time you turned the key.
Mostly because it was a 25 year old car.

1981 280ZX back in the early 80's. Sold it in 1994. I still miss that car. Don't miss the leaky T Tops though.

Hey, I have a Z car too! While a lot of Corvette owners refer to their Z06's and whatnot as "Z Cars", my first thought when I read the thread title was Z-28.

My brother owned a 280Z for many years then in 1996 (or whatever the last year for the 300ZX was) he bought a twin turbo model which he still has as his daily driver. I've driven it a couple of times and it is a fairly impressive car, but he says you really feel its weight on an autocross course.

I almost bought a 1984 300ZX Turbo for $300. It needed a lot of work though and I dont know much about working on japanese engines.

Default Nissan Z

I had a 1975 280Z for about ten years. I also had a 1992 300ZX for fifteen years before I sold it and bought my C6. I spent more money souping up those cars than I care to remember. Now I'm doing the same on my C6. It'll never stop....Help me....I've got an expensive car habit....
