Default National Museum of The United States Air Force B-25 [PICS] and more

It was the busiest day in the history of the museum. It was absolutely packed. Four of the Raiders made it out of the eight still living. The line to get autographs was about 1000 people deep. Hope you guys enjoy the pics. If anybody is wondering the museum is six miles northeast of Dayton Ohio. Free admission and parking. It is someplace everybody needs to go to once in their life.

It was a real surprise to me last year when I visited there to find that the F-15 there (Tail number 027) was one I had actually flown when I was in the 27th TFS at Langley AFB, Va.

Awesome collection of machinery, and great to see those raiders there.

That B-25 was a fantastic little plane!!!

Thanks ! I've seen the PP at local airshows. I think there is a B-25 specialist here in GA. and they restore them. Would love to have met the veterans.

The book and old movie (Van Johnson) are both good on the raid.
