They may be very high quality light weight wheels (the only thing you should consider for a car of that caliber), but to me they look like the horrendous Giovanna pimp wheels you see advertised in car magazines.

They look all show and no go to me. I think it's the alternating paint and polished surfaces on each spoke. Way too fancy.

To me, whether you go blacked-out or polished or graphite or bright silver, you want to maintain a certain amount of visual reference to race wheels. They can look expensive and polished and whatnot, but they should still look purposeful.

These are much more like it:

Think in terms of dressed-up race wheels (with light weight to go with the looks).

If you get something two tone I'm going to drive to your office and fire bomb your car while you're at work.

I'd get something all black with a lip, 10 or less non-forked spokes and no fake bolt heads. If it's legitimately a multi-piece wheel then I'm fined with oxide black hardware.

No way, there are so many C5s running around with the cheap knock-off ZR1 rims that they don't look special anymore

And the spokes should have some substance to them. Extremely thin spokes look silly, imho, especially when you get up into the 19" and 20" sizes.

IMO go with a true 3 piece wheel, you'll thank yourself should you even bend a lip, been there.....

I like Concave spokes on something as wide as a Zr1.

I'd do a black center/polished lip on the Forgeline

I can verify Forgeline has great customer service and a very light weight wheel.

The concave spoke should be more pronounced on the back of the Z.

Some 360forged:

I no experience with 360s.

From the original post I like the GT-7s better of the two.

Wow, great info, thanks all. It gets kind of overwhelming picking out something so basic. I don't think I want a polished lip or rim and will go all black except for the lugnuts and bolts, etc.

TSW and Giovanna both have some great looking wheels, too.

These w/out the red lip

Pic of the wheels isn't very good, but these are TSW Trackstar 7s.
