I have an older Yammi, I don't mind it but I don't use it much because it's hooked up to my 42 year old Telefunken console stereo HiFi.

Yamaha RX-V1500

I thought about that, but if you want pandora can you stream it through Airplay and an iPad? There are also rumors that Pandora will be added in a firmware upgrade, but who knows. I won't hold my breath.

Just this once....
But had to ship it to NJ. There was one local repair guy in STL. But he was jerk on the phone (god complex since he is the only Denon auth. repair).
Denon acutally got it back pretty quick, maybe 6 biz days it was gone.

The "leftovers" are still fetching 900+ dollars. I got this one for under half that.

I bought mine a year ago for under $900 on Amazon.com. Only thing bad thing about it is it don't come with a Warranty. Had it a year now and no probs so far.

I bought a Sony XBR55HX929 TV that I hung on the wall. I have an old Onyko system for my 42" TV and it has always worked good. I searched Google till I was almost sick and ended up with the Onyko
TX-NR616. I just love it. I only have 1 HDMI thru the wall to the TV. I have Apple TV, 3D DVD and my Uverse all HDMI into the Onyko and it runs everything perfectly. It is the center of everything and does a perfect job.

I have a Yamaha RX-V1700 that has been good but is getting dated and I think I may upgrade soon
Next one will almost certainly have Audyssey
Some that I've been checking out:

Denon 4311CI
Marantz SR7005 or SR7007
NAD T 775 HD2

I may also do separates...too many to list

Juswt got a Denon 2113CI. My speakers have never sounded so good, and it even makes the picture on my 73" TV look better. Has all the bells and whistles.

My new Onkyo receiver with Audyssey, did an amazing job in calibrating my HT system.
I have four subwoofers ( two SVS PB12-NSD subs and two BIC America F12 subs) hooked
up to it and Audyssey with MultEQ XT32 and Sub EQ HT calibrated them superbly.
I leveled each sub to 75dB and then ran the full 8 position Audyssey calibration.

After calibration, I sampled the train wreck scene from the movie Super 8 on BD.
It is the most chillingly realistic train wreck scene ever put into a movie.
It was as if the cars were derailing into the middle of my HT.
I could "feel" waves of bass energy ripple throughout my room.
The exploding tanker cars created tremendously deep and powerful bass extension,
that you could "feel" deep in your chest.
Having four properly calibrated subwoofers in your room, is an awesome experience!

That train wreck scene has now become my favorite demo scene.

The latest Pioneer Elite's are out now. The new class D amp driven SC68 looks pretty good. Kinda pricey.

Stay away from Onkyo! They sound good, while they last,, it you plan on usuing it a lot it will self destruct. My $1000 Onkyo NR807 failed 60 days out of warranty. ou can readup on the web. Stick with Yammy or Pionner.
