Default Watching Jesse James Outlaw Garage. Circuit of the Americas

now THAT TRACK is one huge reason why im going to miss living in Texas besides the obvious.

They are building a 2 seat indy like car for Circuit of the Americas that was supposedly commissioned by the head founder/funding man behind the track that will take a passenger of the track over 200 mph and give rides to people like that.

Damn, i gotta sell my tickets to COA still....

I really wish i was able to see that place with cars ripping around at 200+mph!!!!!!

I can't believe how sissified SoCal is.... What happened to the car culture here? Not 1 single 1/4mi track? REALLY? They really killed cars in SoCal quickly.... Austin looks like a badass place for cars now. I wish i would of spent more time there.

Hey, id rather play with a rack over a track (i think???? track seems to hurt less) and I loved A LOT about Texas but Socal girls blow Texas girls out of the water.

Now if you JUST focus on Austin vs say Los Angeles, its pretty close from my experience but CA vs TX, CA girls are way hotter and far more plentiful. Now Texas has some AMAZING women but they are spread out like the state unlike stacked on eachother in CA.

Killed it quickly? They've been killing it since the late 60's with all that environmental crap.

And JJ has the brain & personality of a prepubescent 15 yo.

JJ took a stock car, cut the body off, put on different custom made body. thru out the whole show, they mentioned going 200 mph on the straight. I was thinking while watching the show last nite. JJ you got access to a wind tunnel? is that custom body aero correct to allow you to go 200 mph? at the very end, they talk about how exciting 170 was down the straight. why not just do it in a new Vette or a Ford GT40, probably cheaper than having JJ build you a car. I know the Vette would be cheaper.

JJ is a tool but I hope he wins the biker build off. SR & JR build "erector" set bikes, and Gas Monkey is capable of building neat stuff, they just seem to be in hurry. It's like "we gotta get this done, the building is on fire."

I expected more from JJ even after he calls Jr. a cake decorator. Thats exactly what that build was. Took a stock car, cut it, added a body and was amazed how fast and well it cornered. Of course it did nimrod, it's a stock car built for racing. He did nothing to make that car, just some pretty painted carbon fiber panels.

i was surprised how scared of Carbon Fiber work they were and i applied at that composite technology location in San Antonio for a job. I got a tour of their facility and i can crap out better composite work. The pay was insulting and i didn't take them up on their offer.

That was probably the only truth in that whole episode. Ive been to that place and there is a real reason they had a hard time doing naked CF. Not to mention i would of liked to of hear the layup process they used but thats just the geek in me i guess.

HTats cool... i don't look up to him like he's some god or something but when your home all day in pain you tend to watch whatever is on TV at that time.

He looks like he has a lot more fun in Texas dealing with an all around custom shop instead of just bikes and not to mention he appears to really enjoy the shooting sports so thats a thumbs up in my book no matter who you are.

I stopped by his shop on Monday after the F1 race and the car was out front. Cool looking car in person, and lots of very nice projects in his shop.

Probably so since he is supposedly engaged to her. I guess he needs some extra spending money from the Paul Mitchell heiress.

Can someone explain to me how they build these cars for people and you always see them in their shop. Doesn't the customer, like Paul Sr's roadster above, take delivery and drive the S**t out of it? I would. You see it regularly on American Chopper with the custom built bikes are in their shop parked.

Probably because maybe the supposed customer doesn't really pay for the build, The Discovery or History channel probably pays the bulk of the bill.
