Default A sad day today we should never forget.

As long as I live I'll never forget the sight of people jumping out of windows to their death to avoid the fire.

I always said, how fn horrible it must have been, that jumping out of a 100 story window was the better choice....

Too many beautiful brave men & woman gone for no reason.
Absolutely will never forget.

I can remember being here in OT that morning. I could see the smoke from the Pentagon from where I work.

An intelligence community that sat on their collective hands and permitted such an attack. And they all still get or got paid.

Wonder what the next major disaster will be due to human failure to act.

And remember; no profiling the bad guys.

Yes it may very well be a sad day in history but not today for me. My son is getting married at the Venetian in N.J.!

I lost 8 coworkers that day in the Pentagon and buried one of them at Arlingtin National Cemetary a month later (one of the last victims identifies) in full view of the damaged side of the Pentagon where he was killed.

The memorials ceremonies and all the focus today only makes me sad. I like to hear about good news like yours than wallow in sadness over what happened so many years ago. We can remember but we also need to drive on and live our lives.

It will (to me) be interesting to see how the POTUS memorializes this anniversary.

He'll blame the U.S., and embrace his Muslim friends.

Like most, I remember hearing about it driving to work about 0615hrs. Thoughts and prayers go to those who lost family members.

I also remember the incredible bravery and the subsequent feelings of Patriotism and unity that seems to have faded ever since.

I remember most events that day like it was yesterday.
