Pace Car
A friend of mine in Texas bought 14 of the 1978 Pace Cars when they were released. They were around $14-15K at the time. About a year later he sold 12 of them for around $30-35K each and made a huge profit. They dropped in value in 1979 when Chevy decided to offer the same paint scheme without the Indy 500 decals. He kept 2 of them and I think he still has them up on blocks. They have risen in value somewhat during the last few years from what I've seen on the TV auctions.

Making CFOT Great Again
I remember people were in a feeding frenzy buying up those pace car replicas. This is the first I've heard of someone actually making any money as a result.
