How accidents happen a lot is when there is more than one track - the person hears the train coming on the other track but fails to then hear the one coming up from behind them on the track that they are walking on.

One of my first cars was a '67 Chevy van with a 283 and 3 on the tree. It was one of the more useful cars I had back then.

Residents love to claim everyone is speeding excessively.

I was following a guy slowly who suddenly put his car in reverse to back into a driveway. As I was coming to a stop and could not reverse fast enough, I started honked the horn twice. An angry neighbor yelled at me "slow down".

Standard mantra is "slow down" even if one is stopped.

My Corvette is loud. People hear me coming and think, the car is loud, so it must be going too fast.

FWIW, I asked one of the radar guys I was taking pictures of if he got to the point where he could judge speed pretty accurately without the radar gun. He said part of their training is to estimate speed visually and they have to come within two mph in their estimates to be certified.

The Morning Bunny.

Photo shot with a hand held Nikon CoolPix zoomed in all the way. And, yes, I know I need to pick up the palm fronds and cut the grass & weeds.

Photo was captured in camera RAW mode and processed in Adobe LightRoom CC 2017 and finally in Photoshop CC 2017 converted to monotone with Photoshop plugin NIL Silver Efex Pro which is now free since their acquisition by Google...

I hope that helps...
