This has got to be one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. My Brother and I and a close friend went shopping and we all see this guy at the same time. Went back and got a picture with my bud Hugo. This was not Pacman,too skinny and short.

Were you panning or did your camera stop action? I'm noticing the difference between the blur in the spokes on the wheels in your pics and mine.
My little camera won't quite stop action at race speeds, so I have to pan like a madman.

All of my shots are always done using the full manual settings on the camera - nothing ever shot in auto mode. Those two were panned after I selected the f stop and shutter speeds I wanted. To capture the element of speed, I'm always going for blurred spokes / background while attempting to obtain a crisp shot of the subject. I think your shot captured all of that quite well

Exactly - trust me, I end up with plenty of garbagola for every good shot BTW, I also only shoot single shots - no multiple frames.
