Default Ferrari vs Lamborghini which are the better Exotic Cars to drive

I plan on driving a Exotic Super Car at Exotic Cars Racing for 5 laps. For Ferrari's the choices are the F430, F430 Scuderia, the 458 Italia, the 488 GTB and the F12 Berlinetta. For Lamborghini the choices are the Gallardo LP550, the Galalrdo Superleggera, the Hurucan 610-4 and the Aventador. Which would you recommend I drive, and which would be the most worth it?.

I want to drive a Exotic Supercar before I buy my first Corvette, to see what it's like to drive a fast car.

One thing you will learn will require you to drive a Corvette. Generally speaking, the Italian cars are relatively small displacement and they require high engine rpms for horsepower. A 6.2 liter, or 7 liter, Corvette driven on the street or highway can outperform almost all general population cars and never have to exceed 2000 rpm. To get performance out of these supercars you've mentioned, you have to rev them up into the stratosphere to get their spectacular performance.

If you want to experience a super car, you really need a race track. A highway is not good. You can loose control of a high performance car if you're not experienced. The stability control features are not fool proof. see Youtube videos. Loss of control at a race track often means you spin out and kill a lot of grass. Spring Mountain in Nevada is closest to me. Porsche is building a track in the US to provide high speed experience for their customers.

David E. Davis said that everyone should experience a V12 at least once in their life. I'd go for either the F12 or the Aventador, and I'd go for the Aventador mysellf, because I love the way it looks, the way it sounds and like Sinatra said; "You buy a Ferrari when you want to be someone. You buy a Lamborghini when you already are someone."

Since you have never driven a powerful sports car on the track, I would drive the one with the most electronic "nanny" systems to keep you safe.

Personally? I would do the 430 Scud. Total driver's car despite being the 2nd to last for power on the list.

If this is a Vegas raceway trip, bring your credit card, no matter what car you pick, you'll want to go again.....and again.

Any of them will be an exciting, great experience. Then, when you test drive the Corvette you'll realize what a great car and value it is.

Some of those have a McLaren. I'd drive that.

A good friend of mine owns a 458 Italia, Huracan, McLaren 675LT, and a Tesla P100D with ludicrous mode. He LOVES the Ferrari and says it's his favorite car. I've driven his 458 and Huracan and I liked driving the Ferrari more. He doesn't like the McLaren at all and he's had a ton of issues with it. He's selling it and is buying a Porsche Panamera Turbo for his wife. The Tesla is his "beater"!!

488 or F12 or Aventador in that order

In general, exotics aren't all that cracked up to be. Several years ago I took out a few exotics with a company on a race track (not autocross). At the time, these were what were available and I took all 3 out and I'll rank them in the order of preference after driving them:
1.) Ferrari F430
2.) Porsche 911 Turbo
3.) Lamborghini Gallardo

Ferrari - Balanced & fun to drive. Great sound. Doesn't have much torque doesn't feel fast

Porsche - Wild car to tame but plenty of torque and power

Lamborghini - Brute V10 but the e-gear (transmission) is crap. The 2014 Audi R8 and newer along with the Huracan moved to a dual clutch which is world's better

Hope this all helps!
