Default How do you get through your day?

This has been posted several years ago, but I thought it is worthy enough to bring back for those who may not have seen it. Inspirational and makes me stop complaining about the little things in life that I'm faced with.

I've seen Richie at several car shows around Charlotte, including AutoFair. He could have given up long ago but chose to overcome his handicap. Watch:

Indeed.

I broke my ankles (yes both) five years ago. They often give me pain. But when I see someone without a foot or leg, it humbles me.

Over ten years ago I was diagnosed with a very rare aggressive cancer, caused by Agent Orange, Viet Nam. I underwent operation that removed the growth from my middle intestines, almost died on the table, went through 5 years of Chemo, EVERY DAY, got Mercer twice resulting in additional surgeries, and bedridden for months, severe cramps in legs and arms, upset stomach daily, headaches, and because I took Chemo so long, caused digestive issues, resulting in weight gain, highest weight was 338 lbs causing high sugar, high blood pressure, fatigue, knee and backpain.. I had to undergo further surgery. Finally 9 years after I was told I had this life threatening cancer, I was declared cancer free. Today I weight 190 lbs, I take NO PRESCRIBE Medicine, feel great, and what gets me through the day, knowing each day I live is a gift and know how important your health is.

I don't know how I would have done it as a parent, but they took it in stride.
