Default The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Amazon Prime series......we enjoyed

In 1958 New York, Midge Maisel's life is on track- husband, kids, and elegant Yom Kippur dinners in their Upper West Side apartment. But when her life takes a surprise turn, she has to quickly decide what else she's good at - and going from housewife to stand-up comic is a wild choice to everyone but her.

Golden Globe nominee: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Congratulations to Prime Original Series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, nominated for 2 Golden Globe awards, including Best TV Series, Comedy and Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy Rachel Brosnahan

If anyone knows the song from the comedy central commercial of this show, that'd be great

Haven't seen it but thought I read it was loosely based on the life of Joan Rivers.

I thought it'd be but I've now finished S2 and not at all sure. The dates are all wrong as is the presence of children born in the 1950's.

What I enjoyed the most was what I take to be an accurate glimpse of the late 1950's and early '60's. I hope S3 starts with the long suffering death of her foul mouthed vile manager, Susie.

Try introducing yourself to a real girl. In person, up close and able to touch beat a flash of an image.
