Default On demand water filter system for faucet?

I bought a PUR filter to go in my kitchen faucet, but none of the adapters fit. What are the chances of that?

So I took it back. I saw the undersink systems, but I want to be able to turn the filter on and off, like with the faucet mounted ones. We use way too much water for other stuff like washing dishes and other stuff and would be changing the filters too often.

The pitchers are another option, but I need at least a gallon a day and my wife drinks a lot too. The filter changes would not be ideal.

Anybody using a good, reliable system that lasts and can be used on demand?

What about a refrigerator water dispenser? If yours has one, just connect an extra filter to the water supply line so you’ll have double filtration.. that’s what I did.. we gotta get a new fridge now though cause the old one is, well, old and starting to take a crap on us

Can't you just install install a separate drinking water faucet like this?

Install a reverse osmosis system with a separate faucet. If you have minerals in the water such as arsenic, you want that anyway.

Mine doesnt have the access thing on the front for ice and water. The ice doesn't taste good though, so I bet if there is an inline filter, it isn't any good.

Not a bad idea, does that replace the existing faucet or just mount over to the side of the current one?

It gets installed next to your main faucet.

Had this one for many years, you will need a hole for the filter facet.

Amazon Amazon

Change 2 filters every 6 months and all 3 once a year. Easy to change.
