Bromine is just as toxic as chlorine, but doesn't smell as bad.
I don't want to hijack this thread, so I will start a new one about the more natural way to take care of the hot tub without chemicals.

Bob.

I do some occasional driving for the local Chrysler dealer and today I delivered a fleet vehicle to a city government in the St. Louis area.

Nader wasn't interest in getting the Corvair production shut down; he was after GM. He hated capitalism and I believe that GM was the largest company in the world at that time, and was a solid symbol of capitalism.

Destroy GM and he figured that he could destroy capitalism.

I believe that the VW Beetle had the same design rear suspension design as the early Corvairs, yet he didn't go after VW, a small German company.

That sounds like a neat part time job. Hell of a lot better than standing on your feet all day long working as a greeter at Walmart, or jacking off turkeys at a local poultry farm.

I am pushing 72 and have retired six times so far. The last time was in 2010.

Today I am planning on taking my wife to the chiropractor, going by the gun store, shooting some of my guns at the gun club, cleaning some guns, and washing the Corvette.

I volunteer time with our church bicycle ministry. I repair donated bikes for them that are distributed to those in need. Once in a great while we get a really nice, higher end bike. Someone just donated two Giant TCRs and I'll spend the day going through them making some needed repairs. Then we'll figure out what we'll do with these. We might sell one or both to pay for helmets we give out or for parts for other bikes. We gave away 40 childrens bikes last week.
