Did the same thing on my Corvette....really pissed me off. Good news, it chips off easily, although time consuming as you have to work it off with a fingernail one at a time. Harder to get out of tire tread.

I got some off with pressure washer. Iím going to take it to detail shop and let them handle it.
Iím going to guess the fender wheel liners are going to have to be replaced

A good detail shop can get it off and back to new.
You may be able to file a claim with the highway dept.

Flexible plastic paint will work if detail shop can't remove it.
