Something she's always dreamed of having for her kitchen. We'd been fridge shopping and had settled on what we wanted, because it's as if the space was made for it. But weren't planning on buying for quite some time. Then last Friday, our fridge had the freezer stop freezing. Great. So we went out shopping for a relatively inexpensive fridge to tide us over. Then it happened. And it was one of those deals where "I really don't want to spend the money, but I simply can't pass up on the deal either."

I just got done leveling them.

May seem odd to some, but my wife spends a lot of time in the kitchen, and she likes buying bulk. With me and two growing boys in the house, it made sense, and she's overjoyed that she got what she wanted for once.

How the heck do some of you guys get away with such an idea as a gift like a kitchen remodel! I could get the damn best kitchen ever, and I would still be expected to get jewelry or something else!!!!

My wife thinks that a woman's place is in the kitchen

She'd LOVE a gift like that

I'd probably have blow jobs on command for at least a month after getting her something like that

Got my wife a new 24 sq. ft. refrig/freezer 14 years ago. Sears took $300 off the $1500 price for the scratch on the side. That side went up against one wall in our kitchen.

She really wanted it because it had the freezer on the bottom.

Is that one monster unit, or two separate units with the door flipped on one of them? My brother-in law has an arrangement that looks like that, but in his case it is really two separate refrigerators set right next to each other, in the large space. (Two "cabinet depth" units, to look very close to built-in.)

2 refrigerators are always better than one....thing is you will always use that second one even if you didn't think you would.

The wife and I were shopping at SamsClub yesterday and I bought this as it was a deal that was too good to beat. Brio Massage Chair. Link $5k online. We got for $4k plus 5 year warranty instead of 3 and white glove delivery. So now we will be vacationing next month and our couch, kitchen table and now massage chair are all supposed to show up while we are gone. The neighbors have a surprise when they decide to help us. We watch their house and take deliveries while they go on vacation... now its our turn.

Nice fridge/freezer combo. I always wanted some that big. We have 3 refrigerators/freezers. 1 in house, 2 in garage.

I have the exact same ones. They are separate, called an all fridge and an all freezer. If you are doing a clean sheet remodel and can make the room I highly recommend them. I got the pair for less than many of the French door fridge/drawer freezer units.

Link to product info? Maybe when our new one craps out in 5 years I may go that route.

Don't let the MSRP scare you, I got the pair locally for under $3k.

This is the Fridge: https://www.frigidaire.com/Kitchen-A...or/FGRU19F6QF/

Freezer: https://www.frigidaire.com/Kitchen-A...er/FGFU19F6QF/

They're 19 Cubic feet each, counter depth (essentially) at 26.5" deep. 32" wide each.

I'd have NEVER bought them if it wasn't for the space that they're sitting in was practically made for them. I had to remove a base cabinet and the two overhead cabinets to fit them, but it is almost as if it was designed for a side by side setup. The right one (refrigerator) was a scratch and dent, had a couple of dents on the back and a side scratch that let me pay only $1K for it. I got the combo with delivery, setup, and haul away of our old one for $2600, which is very comparable to a french door refrigerator. It was a no brainer.

*edit* PatsGarage types faster than I apparently.

Like I said, it's like the space in our house was made for this. Part of the reason why I simply couldn't say no, especially for the price.
