I just came back from talking to my guy at our local body shop, he's got a good frame guy who he's gonna show the pics to so they can work up a quote.

I'm sure you'll do better after all that practice you got from the exhaust. It's just a frame, so no big deal...

I agree, I would absolutely tig it. I was just suggesting he get someone who's passed the 6G. They are used to welds being x-ray'ed and such. Their bad welds will be sufficient.

Oh, and they are tested on EVERY position possible with the 45 deg circumferential pipe test.

Damn these things have sexy lines, and you haven't lived in my opinion until you see those sexy lines of the original stingray fender flares from your plush leather bucket seat while grabbing that hard Hurst ball shifter on that Muncie four-speed.

What's the $ to fix this beaut? I came close to buying one years ago, it was the ugliest green ever. The seller was telling me about the fender keyhole alarm system and the whole time I thought he was full of sht.

Yes, GM theft deterrent systems. Never in Automotive History has any device kept more people from starting cars. Unfortunately, they only work at keeping the owners from starting them.
