No, that same dude kept walking in front of the camera over and over and it said 100 yards on the screen, so it's the truth!

Josh Allen is getting compared to Ben Roethlisberger, Cam Newton and Aaron Rodgers after his last couple games.

The Jets DC said Allen reminds him of John Elway.

Yeah, athletes and coaches are subject to hyperbole...just like you.

Way too early to say Mahommes will be the GREATEST OF ALL TIME.
Way way too early to say Allen will even be a franchise QB.

I kept replaying the video waiting for his arm to get tired. He threw over one hundred 100-yard passes. Dude is like a ****** robot, man.

Allen definitely looks (along with Baker) like best QB in the draft. Runs like Forrest Gump and decent passer. He's got literally no O line, no weapons. He still looks ok. He could be a decent starting QB if he had some help...any help at all.

I'm not saying that Mahomes isn't a good player and having a great first year as a starter, but to even hint of the term GOAT is more of a reach them hanging on Mahomes' *******. Let's wait til 2030 and if Mahomes is STILL doing this after 10+ years in the league, then you can THINK about discussing him with the true great QBs. 2-3 Lombardi Trophies to pad that resume will need to be required as well.

Dan Marino was better than Montana, he didn't have the teams Montana did. Consequently without any superbowl wins, Marino isn't even mentioned in the same breath as Montana. Well, let's all come back in ten years and see if the chefs have anything to show for having this superman on the roster.

If you're at all into advanced stats, they track QB velocity at the combine.
Mahommes was 60mph, only three QBs have hit 60mph in the last decade.
Josh Allen was 62mph.
For perspective, anything under 55mph...pretty much means you have about zero chance of success in the NFL.

https://sports.yahoo.com/watch-josh-...170824868.html

he may not even be an average starter when it all plays out.

Well, look at the Ravens talking about Mahomes.

Their DC says "I think Mahomes is Joe Montana"

Jimmy Smith called him a "more athletic Brett Favre".

So Steve...what do you have to say now? I called Mahomes the best QB (possibly/probable/likely) and you laughed at me. So did others. Today, a top DC and safety compared him to Joe Montana and Brett Favre. Please give us your opinions, oh wise football expert.

They said the same about russel wilson & zack prescot. Cam newton had 1 good year and they were raving about him too. So far Only Tom Brady has been in the same conversation as a Joe Montana

Yep...

It takes a year for other teams to game plan for new young QB's. Kaepernick looked amazing the year the Niners almost won the Super bowl….
Jimmy Garoppolo won 5 straight on a terrible team last year, then he got hurt. Deshaun Watson got hurt last year too, that can happen to Mahomes at any time and he is very fortunate to be on a good team...

Hope the kid stays healthy, he is a lot of fun to watch.....

Yes, he is good right now. Let's see how well he does 4-5 years from now when the grind of playing in the NFL has happened. Once he has had time to really establish himself, perhaps he will be ranked among the greats.

Mahomes is off to a great start but he's got a long way to go before the Joe Cool comparisons mean anything at all.
