You have no room to talk. You have the power to put English lessons in their entirety in the stickies.

Being picky about grammar might be genetic. I found this picture of the old family body shop, and because it was run by my great-grandfather and grandfather, there were multiple people named Plummer, hence plural with the apostrophe after the end.

I'm not a dick about it, but I don't let my kids do that around me. I know they will with their peers, but I want them to have the ABILITY to not do it with older people. Once I pointed out it's primarily buying time in your head to pick the next word, I suggested the just pause, with no "um" either. Takes some practice, but they can do it.

Same with phones. I've explained that while YOUR peers might think its normal, in the middle of a conversation, to just pull out Reddit and start reading, but it's wrong to people MY age, so be cognizant of who you're dealing with is the main thing, and act accordingly around them.

Neither are on the poll but the ones that really bug me are:
1. Defiantly when they mean definitely
2. The person has a car for sell, or alternatively they have a car to sale.

Without context, the poll is meaningless.

Why do you need to heat hot water with a HOT WATER HEATER?

Technically, you are actually heating cold water, unless you have a hot spring at your disposal; in which case, you probably don't need the hot water heater.

Damn, I love a semi-colon!
