The new Supra has about the same horsepower as entry level 4cyl Ecoboost Mustang

for what that thing will cost you'll be able to get much more performance just about anywhere else, power to weight isn't doing it any favors.

What is ‘more than 300hp supposed to mean’....it’s better be way more than that. Like 400hp at a minimum, 500+ is more like it.

actually, the 300hp Inline-6 is the performance model.

There will be an Inline-4 version of Supra as well.

In 1993 they had a Supa inline 6 turbo $39 grand my 93 vette cost that. Try finding a 93 for less than 40 grand today? You can find a 93 vette for 10 grand in excellent shape today. Just comparing!
