Crouton is a little too high for you. I'd describe you more like the vinegar in the dressing.

I gave you more credit, that was my fault. I was clearly speaking of the multiplication of scale. If your job is to stop people walking into props, that's a MUCH more serious job than programming in most senses. The problem is that then a BILLION people can use it for a BILLION different things. I was referring to the SCALE. Not the import. Sorry it made you so angry, that wasn't my goal.

No, I said I worked on them ALL. So if I'm the reason, then logically they all must suck. I bet that might make you explode like the Star Trek computer if you think about it too hard.

Man, the insecurity and thin skin runs deep in here today! As far as I'm concerned, when I'm in the back seat, Uber Driver is the most important job in the world. So it's all up to context.

It's not that your accomplishments are not worth noting. It's the pomp and arrogance that's present in most of your self aggrandizing posts.

Next to the Bible, being in Windows is likely the most ubiquitous thing to be in (and no Heaven help me I'm not drawing comparisons in import just in size of reader base and who has one in the house). You might be able to find your initials with your girlfriend's on a tree somewhere, but I can find them on every computer in the world, give or take. I just need to contribute to Android for the full boat!

Running Chrome on Linux? You're still hitting my codepaths just reading this page. Same on Windows, true on Mac (as long as any Office apps have ever been installed). That's kind of a cool feeling. And it won't be true for code written today, but because I wrote the code that forms the basis of MS-DOS and Windows, that code will ALWAYS be around for eternity for backward compatibility. In the year 2300 if you want some ancient Excel data from Harvard, a Windows emulator will be invoked somehow to process it just as part of accessing it.
You're either full of **** or woefully misinformed. Even if you trace all the way back to the golden days of SCP, and BSD v/s System V, Next, etc. what you find is there a handful of different "trunks" of the code lineage tree. So at best, if you're really old, your code might have begun in one of those trunks and persists in a child branch today, but it's HIGHLY unlikely that anything any single person did would be as ubiquitous as you claim. Maybe you're talking about a commonly cross-platform (re)built and shared library (encryption perhaps?), but then I'd take issue with the wording "very major portions" as anything of that nature would likely be a small, low-level utility. But the other red flag in your statements is that you claim you need Android distribution for the quad-fecta. Except ... you apparently don't realize that Android is a build of Linux with the major difference being the reinvention of the JVM (into Dalvik) by Google. Sooooo yeah ....

guess you haven't read snorkie's lately? He's thinks he's up there with gandi and ****. Hell he even went so far to say that I wasnt worthy to even stand in the same room as his anus I mean his highness. Think that had to be one of the cockiest arrogant things I have ever seen on a a message board and I have seen some ****. I mean I have maybe bragged a few times about monetary things (and probably shouldn't have but someone pissed me off) but I have never said that another human being (like me that he has never met) doesn't deserve to be in the same room as me . He also said he thinks I need mental help well I am not the one with the god complex. But at least snide does a good job being his court jester.

And btw snorkie I don't hold hard feelings if you apologize for that post it will be like never happened. I am not as shitty of a person as you seem to think I am but I am not a pushover either.

That's ironic, that's literally the song I play when I'm composing posts... Pomp and Circumstance!

I don't know if my Linux code was picked up with Android. I guess I could look. I didn't claim it because I haven't looked.

You're having a hard time here, so I'll type slower. I said I had code in all the majors OSes since about 1993-ish. That's true. I didn't say I had sex with Turing. And yes, my code is still in there. Yes, if you're on Windows, you're using it now. Go have a shower if it bugs you that much.

As for Linux, not until you interop with any COM object, but the code is still there, I checked.

If you want to claim the same thing, get off your ***, find a bug in the low level Linux kernel distro that will be present in Android too, and fix it in both.
Or you could just do what you do... nothin', then hate on those that do.

Sheesh we can take out a towel head out half way across the world can you imagine what thousands of mini killing drones could do to it's own citizens?

Maybe they are the flying beasts that revelation talks about that torment people in the end times.

I have no need for friends on CFOT, nor am I aiming to make any, so don't apply.
