what will be your legacy? No wrong answers.

I thnk for me, it has to be my son. Our main goal was to raise an honest, smart, conservative man. Seems weve done that. He will carry my name and for that Im very proud.

I just hope that your son, and my two sons for that matter, will ensure that that name means something.

It's not just about doing something great for the world, it is about being lucky enough to be born and get to experience life. It is precious, all lives. Always remember, you could have been aborted. Too bad that one guy wasn't.

Years ago I built quality homes and apartments for the minorities and welfare recipients.

They truly appreciated to be treated the same way I treated everyone.

Always tried to do my best no matter who I was building for or who was paying for it.

Amazed many government officials back then.

Built some life long relationships.

My greatest "legacy" will be my kids, their kids, etc., etc., etc. Our 2 sons are successful, doing work that they enjoy, and are raising great kids of their own.

On a more material note, in my woodworking hobby I've created many pieces of furniture, accessories, etc. I hope that someday way in the future one or more of those things will be sitting in one of my descendants' homes, and when someone asks "Where did you get that?", they'll say "I don't know, I think some old distant relative made it, or something like that."

One of my favorite Jean Shepherd quotes: “Can you imagine 4,000 years passing, and you're not even a memory? Think about it, friends. It's not just a possibility. It's a certainty.”

As an EE I designed a couple of products for the first company I worked for that haven't been in production for about 40 years but are still in demand and well thought of but no one knows me. I don't mind.
