cars like the chevy ''VOLT'',use a gas eng to run/charge batterys

why don't cars use the tech from diesel locomotives.. diesel/electric?

or why can batterys be replaced by ''fully charged ones',at regen stations?

I knew most would enjoy the article even though it is long and too complicated for many of you.

Here's the cliffs : Read it Yourself.

At this point, an electric would be fine for the vast majority of my driving. Work is a 5mile round trip and most weekend trips I take are 80miles each way so plenty of range. The Tesla Model S is a higher price point than I want and the Model 3 has a terrible interior and the Bolt is awful looking so electric is off the table for now.

A well thought out analysis. EV's are not for everyone just like Vette's or Bentleys are not for everyone. No one is stupid because of their choice.

i donít think you will find many corvette owners posting pro corvette articles over on the Tesla forums.

Quit reading at 15 minutes for a fill up! At that point everything written was considered bs!

Because Teslas are better. You must be over at the Tesla forums with JoesC5. Few here actually own Vettes but almost all are Tesla owners over there.
