indeed

If Miami Vice is in the top 5 TV shows ever, "Definitely Miami" is in the top 5 Miami Vice episodes.

One of my favorite shows of all time. Instrumental in my desire to move to Florida. Used to plan Friday night around it.

I remember reading that the network didn’t have high hopes for the show in the beginning so they stuck it on Friday night. Seen as a dead zone for TV then. It quickly became a Friday night classic.

And not not sure any other song and intro were a match made in TV heaven. Absolute awesome.

Miami Vice may have also been the first TV show to actually show a woman in a thong. Don't remember the episode but she was walking down the sidewalk while Switek and Zito were sitting at a table.

And Liam Neeson was an IRA guy who Gina fell for and then killed him to prevent him from taking down a plane with a missile. Willie Nelson, Lee Iacocca, G. Gordon Liddy, lots more.

Damn good show.

My favourite TV show of all time. I also have the box set on DVD. I'm a south Florida native and this show came out while I was stationed at a radar site in the middle of Nebraska (Hastings). The show provided a little piece of home on Friday nights.

Crockett shot everybody. Loved the sound of that handgun. I grew up in Key West and was stationed at Grand Forks AFB, ND straight out of tech school. Same month Miami Vice first aired. Damn did it make me miss south Florida.
