The Great McCarthy

The music, the layout of the room with the pool table, the clothes people are wearing, the beautiful lady that walks in and stands next to Tubbs; classic scene.

Looks like the boat is up for sale for $20M. and they'll throw in the Daytona Spyder (C3) from the show for free too!

Well sorta. They never actually used a real Daytona Spyder. Those cars were cleverly disguised C4s.

Good show - the music, cars and hot women were excellent.

Where The Buses Don't Run = absolutely classic episode with the haunting close and Dire Straits Brothers In Arms on the soundtrack.

Well sorta, hence my "C3" in parenthesis. They used C3s not C4s. at least according to the articles I have seen. Says they were 1976 Vettes here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cars_in_Miami_Vice

I remember In 2001 I almost bought a 1989 White 512 TR, just like they had in the MV series. It was $64K and it had 21K miles on it. I'm glad the itch in vicariously living my younger years was shortlived

Its weird to look at the Miami skyline these days knowing that the entire skyline was the byproduct of the South Fl drugs of the 80's

That's what happens when the old guys read an article and can't tell the difference between a 3 and a 4.

Yup, that TR was cool. And the Slant nose was the only Porshce I ever liked in terms of looks and affordability. I realy dont know why they didnt run with it.

I had a 3 head Nakamichi tape deck in my 1984 Corvette. Back then Nakamichi was high end ****. Today NakamichI is a joke. The OWNER made his riches and sold the company

This scene just amazes me. Watch the driver carefully after he drops the shotgun.
Yea, he's a real life professional shooter. Competition handgun stuff.

I ended up buying the Galco Miami II Classic holster Don Johnson wore in the show?
