Don't sugar coat it, tell us how you really feel?

Ra was one of the most talented bands ever and just never made it. Their lead singer is incredible with an amazing range. I used to argue with him a lot on Facebook. He's pretty liberal lol

John Palumbo was brilliant.

Check them out.
Came to say the same...except Palumbo just can't sing anymore. Sad but he continues on anyhow. They recently released a disc of "greatest hits" where they re-did the originals...I can't stand it. They still perform several shows a year locally.
How about The Ravyns?

In all honesty, they only had one song that hit the charts and it didn't last for more than a few weeks.

Crow. Not the Black Crows, but simply 'Crow', a band out of Wisconsin that charted from 1969-71. Great stuff, sound like nobody else, and rock as hard as CCR.

Max Webster. Had some national air play, but for a while they were bigger than Rush in Toronto.

I never figured that CCR would be the benchmark for rocking hard.

The Gear Daddies.
They still play around Minnesota, but have been one of my favorites since they release there first album. Had 2 national records, Letterman when he was still late on NBC, but that was kind of it.

Depends on how fast the rocking chair was going while jamming out to them
