Default So what subgroup(s) were you in jr high and high school ie nerd, jocks etc?

I was a jock from 7th to 9th grade and a sub group a disco dork from 8 to 9th grade(that is another thread thought disco would help me get chicks) Then in 10th grade I discovered weed then I moved to the "head" group and quit sports altogether and just rode motorcross.

Now I don't even smoke weed anymore except maybe once or twice a year camping or something. Don't really get into the high.

I was more of the Burnouts or metal heads but I was friends with everyone. I grew up with the same kids and usually its Junior High where the direction and labeling starts and goes.

Played football and wrestling! Was a serious discipline problem in high school up till my senior year and know for a fact I made one old biddie quit and finely retire at about age 72.

Hung around with the tough guys! Was a car guy so I fit into a bunch of different categories. My marks were OK but I got gigged a lot for discipline and the fact I hated doing homework and only did enough to get by.

Got a good job after high school and retired quite comfortably at age 55, so I must have done some things right

I was lucky--I was guitar player in a band during high school, so was able to get along with everyone from the jock set to the hippie set. Most of the time I was in the nerd set. For a while I was in track and football, but then quit to work for a little cash after school.

I wasn’t in a clique, never have been or wanted to be in one. I am an original thinker and unlike anyone else! I was liked well enough to always be voted class clown but honestly, I mostly stayed in my own little world......kind of like the chick below. This weekend I am going back to see old, childhood friends in Alabama. ❤️

I was from other side of the tracks. Didn't associate with the "goodyy goody" crowd.

Grew up poor. Wrestled, took martial arts, was a good person. Pretty much still that way.

Hung out with the bright kids. Some sports but not really a jock. Moved around a lot (Army brat, three different high schools, for example, in three different states/countries). Stayed out of trouble. Went away to college and the Air Force. In college, the cliques seemed to fall away for the most part.

We weren't the jocks or the nerds, just the cool dudes everyone wanted to hang with and we were nice to most everyone. Probably the reason we are still cool today.

Not proud of it, but I was a bully.

Did not make it through my first year of high school. I was given a choice, drop out or be prosecuted for some crap I did. I dropped out.
