This is a 1999 FRC corvette this is a rare car only made for two years it has the manual 6spd ls1 that is fresh only has 12k on motor the motor has forged bottom end and lots of upgrades the car is a beast it has a Mantic 9000 series twin disc clutch kit Texas speed long tube headers Texas speed catless xpipe Texas speed ms4 cam Texas speed double valve spring kit Texas speed timing chain and high flow oil pump Forged motor only about 12k on build Ls6 intake Stage II t56 6spd trans New tires the car is ready to go......
May be a cool driveable project car... (sure better looking than any C 6.... )
Seems to be priced such that you maybe don't want to wait till the weekend. They avoid saying how many miles are on the car but it doesn't look like a zillion. I probably would have preferred a catted Cross pipe but that's a small price to pay. I would say the car must have a hundred and fifty thousand miles on it but that wouldn't bother me any. It's the worst color and of course it's nowhere near as beautiful as a C6. If you can get past those two things , it's probably a good Budget Car.

I sold mine with 120k on it and it was like new all but the paint. It had stone chips and signs of 120k miles. Mechanically, it was a 10k mile car. That one looks in nicer paint condition than mine so I assume the interior is nice also. Surely it's at least workable, maybe needs a few pieces of foam and a seat cover. That looks like a steal imho... (cept the popup headlights.. )

Yea, the wheels with the rivets are a royal pita to clean. Someone either did a real nice job there or they took that pic the first day they were put on the car.

According to the boys in C 5 general...its only worth about 7k....I tend to agree with them after doing some research. All I can do is make the seller an offer....

That's cuz the C5 crowd are paupers and CFOT be ballah's!

Seriously though. No one can give you a serious well thought out answer about the value of a car based on a Craigslist ad.

The ONLY way you are going to figure out if its worth $3K or $10K is to go see it, check it out, drive it, and decide for yourself. Fair to ask questions like what to look for, common issues, known defects etc. but put no value in a dollar amount from an enthusiast who is basing their conclusion on how good the seller's photography skills are.

I had both a '91 then a '92 C4 back in the 90's. I loved them both. The 91 was a blackrose w/ automatic. The 92 was Admiral Blue with a Borg Warner T56, and 3.42 gears. Neither one gave me a bit of trouble and I drove both daily from '93 to '99:
