I hope everything goes well today Mark. Best wishes to your pup.

Just for the record, that second pic is ripe for a chop or caption. I think he would look great behind the wheel of a Dodge pickup trying to plow snow.

Well hes in the care of Dr. Magic Hands come what may. Well know in an hour or so how it went.

Does anyone know how to set set up a gofundme?

Thanks again for all the well wishes. Heres another choppable pic for spazzy.

You and the pup are in my thoughts, Red.

When my cat went into surgery a couple of years ago, I held that guy tight and was pretty much a sobbing mess when I handed him to the vet.

Cat came out OK, and is healthy and chipper today.

I think your outcome will be similar! Best wishes, for sure.

Thanks man. Aubreigh looks just like our Lucy who was a shelter rescue. Had to put down 2 years ago at age 14. She was just an old lady. Never had to deal with this cancer BS before.

Thanks Scotty. Had to call. Glad I did. We took him in at 0830. They are done with prep and Ricky just went into the suite for surgery. The docs have to clear other stuff beforehand and I guess they are busy. Itll be at least 2 hours before we know anything. :fingerscrossed:

We slept together last last night in his bed. Dude practically drowned me with slobber from all the puppy kisses.

Rickster is out of surgery with the best possible outcome. Well know more in a week after they biopsy the tumor or whatever they have to do. What a relief! Hopefully we can bring him home tomorrow.

Id like to think yalls posiitive mojo played a part in his good fortune thus far. Grazie mille!

Some deets that may be a little TMI. The tumor was on his prepuce or foreskin. In order to get the 1-2 mm margins they want to ensure they get all the bad stuff, they had to literally cut off his ****** and reroute his pee hole. Not an uncommon procedure and Dr. Magic Hands has done this more than once. I can honestly say Ive never heard the sentence the penile amputation went great uttered before.

We are considering changing the spelling of his name to Rikki or Ricki.

I think Lorena Bobbitt coined that phrase.

Glad Ricky did well.
