Default making frame for pond net

first two signs of spring yesterday , saw a chipmunk , blue heron arrived and was lunching on our gold fish . i need to replace our beat up summer pond net but need suggestions to do it best . now have two 14 foot 2x2's with net between them and just roll it up when i want access to pond . oh , pond is 12x20 feet , basically oval with waterfall built up at one ''corner'' [ it faces the two axis of oval at a 45 degree angle] . thought of replacing 2x2 with some sort of plastic pipes and use just as i do now or making two or three pipe frames covered with net and lifting them off for access . not sure how to attach net to pipe and don't know how much sag there would be in 12 foot span . wondered if three 4 foot lengths with couplings joining them would be stiffer or less stiff . be happy if someone had an even better idea so help me out please . i'll try to get son to post a picture or two . thanks . . .peace

I have a pond and we get cranes and egrets checking it out. I bought two of these a couple years ago. No more egrets, no more coons not even the neighbors cat.
works great.

We have a 16 by 26 koi pond and have the same problem with the Heron. I built a frame using 1" PVC. Due to the deflection on the long legs I inserted 1/2" metal conduit inside it.

Have not done spring cleanup around it yet.
