Default Opioids at the pharmacy in Illinois

A question for you people living in Illinois and needing your legal Rx filled at the pharmacy. I understand your state’s pharmacies won’t fill any Rx for OxyContin, Oxycodone or hydrcodone any longer if the script calls for any amount over the equivalent of 90 mg of morphine - unless you have cancer.
This is supposed to be the model sweeping the country state by state. This effort to eliminate the availablability of opioids doesn’t take into consideration some certain circumstances. Yes there are general practice doctors and others over writing prescriptions, doctors selling the scripts and lots of illegal, immoral and dangerous bs inbetween, but there are times when pain relief is needed when nothing else works. There are some responsible patients that don’t abuse their use and are under the care of doctors specializing in paincare management. The states don’t seem to recognize that many doctors refuse to Write any scripts for pain killers but do refer those patients to Pain Management facilities.

Just one question here, If you have knowledge of IL dispensing laws or how opioid prescriptions are handled now, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Worked great for Ricky a year ago. he came flying around the corner and his legs went out and wrenched his back and the vet put him on it. Only a couple small drops with dinner. About a half hour later I brought him up stairs along with the other one and put them on the bed and i went to do some things. Came back about 5 min later and Ricky is sitting staring at the pillow. A few more minutes passed and nothing so I went and got my camera and took this pic. Then I went over around the side and said "Ricky, you okay buddy?" He turned his head real slow and looked at me, then stood up, did a couple circles and out like a light

Can't help with the original question, but I'd suggest you PM Dave concrete for all of your pain killing needs. He seems to know his stuff.
