Ask ZOOP-boy to bring his toy tractor and his PM skills to the fore. It'll be done in no time.

What a bunch of concrete pussies.

They are supposed to drag it or wheelbarrow it from one end to the other.

WTF....is this world coming to.

I could never live there. Congrats on the pour. What's the estimated time of completion?? How many square feet?

Guarantee within 3 months you'll wish you had gone bigger. No matter HOW big it is, that's a law of nature or something.

Why didn't you put the plumbing and electric in the ground?

Why the pump? Why not chute it from all sides? Hell, I counted eleven guys, and one shovel. Enough people to EAT 60 yards of concrete. Where's Dave? Ripoff.

This is what we use to deliver concrete

It's called a Telebelt. It's a conveyor belt system. Benefit is that we can "belt" more than just concrete

We have 2 of them

Thanks! It was this morning. They were done pouring by 7:30am. They sprayed something on it to try to slow the drying as in might get windy today.

Yikes. This is 4400 sq feet total. I did the land prep myself with the help of my family and brother's tractor.

I guess that would depend upon the vehicles but two 40' motor homes with room to spare.

Forgive me if I missed a thread with details about the build...
Rent a skid-steer and buy a laser level and get to work! Pays about $500/hr.
There has been no thread yet. I guess I will update this one with pics as it goes together. It will be a 40'x60'x16' steel building from Mueller.

Don't know. It will probably be done in a few months but there is no schedule. 2400 sq feet.

Everyone says they would go bigger if they could which is why I built a big one to start with. I actually listened to CFOT advice.

Done afterward through the side is good enough for me. I have no plans to use any of it for living space so the only use for water will be a garage sink and swamp coolers.

Could not drive concrete trucks around to the side.

That's plenty big. When you want it to be bigger all you need to do is build a room with an 8 foot ceiling that doubles as a second floor and put a loft above it. For vehicles you can buy a couple four post lifts. All in due time. That's a terrific size building.

Holy cow, I added 1250 SF on to my shop, and the concrete work was just under 4 grand.

What pitch will your roof be as that will also be a factor in how far out you can go later?
