Default Just picked up my first Glock

Nox will be happy.

So I was never a Glock fan at all......too much nominal bs comes with them in my opinion. And then.......I came across this guy here....Glock 35 MOS. I had gotten rid of all my .40 cal guns a few years and wanted to stick with just 9mm and .45acp, but I honestly missed that snappy round, so if I was going Glock, it had to be a .40. This particular Glock model allows the use of a red dot sight, and that was something I really was intrigued with as well. I plan on getting a RMR for it here soon.

Sorry...no calculator and eating utensil in the pic.

I hated Glocks for the longest time. My ex carried one, though, so I figured I need to become proficient with it if it's gonna be around anyway.

So I'd sit and practice presentations and dry-firing and failure drills with her G23 while watching TV, and a funny thing happened.

I fell absolutely in love with Glocks. To the point that I sold my SIG and my 1911, and consolidated all my pistol calibers down to 9mm for the G19 I bought.

I still think .40S&W is stupid, though.

I don't care for striker fired weapons, so I'll stick with my Springfield 1911, Beretta M9 and S&W revolvers.

That's a nice one. I have a Glock 19 MOS with a Trijicon type II RMR. Love it.

I love my G40 MOS, I wasn't a huge fan until the Gen4 and the changeable grips.

LOL.....I agree too. 40 does suck.

I am already looking at conversion barrels in 9mm.

Looks decent. .40 would be nice but anything over 9mm is a **** tonne of red tape over here.

Congratulations. . I accidentally purchased myself a Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS FS just yesterday. A co-worker asked me to go with him to the gun shop during lunch and bam, there it was. They had a SIG P365 there too. Maybe next week.
