Default Why do Mercedes depreciate so damn fast?

so still looking at cars... mostly comfy sedans and somehow i ended up looking at Mercedes sedans.. I think some of them look amazing and their interiors are amazing but i would never buy a Mercedes if it wasn't under warranty but im curious why they lose so much money so fast?

Similar mile 2014 chargers are in the same price range as mercedes... how come?

Because nobody wants to buy one that's out of warranty.

Paid 100K in 2009.

Worth about 40K now.
Almost no miles in Diamond White with the panoramic roof.

Still draws looks like itís a new 100K car.

Default They work for me.....

I've had great luck with my E Class MB's. I've had three....'87, '01' and '09.
The current '09 is a E550 4Matic. I bought it as a Certified with 50k miles and it now has 140k miles.
I service it regularly and it's a great car. I'd buy it again if I could find one with low mileage...

M-B's depreciate so fast because they are so freaking overpriced to begin with.

Made it into 4 magazines and was the truck of the month in a magazine calendar.

Have trends changed since then?

Mercedes isn't unusual. Look at Jaguar and Cadillac.

dunno, do they even have car magazines these days?? I don't follow cars like I once did. I want to buy one but no idea what and hate going to dealers.
