Default Alaskan cruise

Just got back from a 7 day Alaskan cruise. Me my wife sister in law and brother in law left Seattle on the Norwegian Bliss . The first day was at sea.. Listen to good bands and dranked a few. First stop was Juneau Alaska. There we went out on a small boat and got to see hump back whales and Orcas in their natural habitat. Went to a saloon in Juneau and they had a drink called Duck Fart. It made up of Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream and Crown Royal. We had several then had to buy a tee shirt that said we had duck farts. Next stop Skaway. There we took a 1.5 hour train ride through the wilderness. A saloon there had Reindeer Farts made up of Baileys, Kahlua and peppermint schnapps. Had several of those. Next day was spent at Glacier Bay. Then we went to Ketchikan were me and my brother in law took a float plane ride while the wife's went shopping. Last stop was Victoria British Colombia for shopping at sight seeing. Even though the temperature was cool the scenery and wildlife was great. I would recommend taking a Alaskan cruise. :cert:

I mean, You ALL have to agree that Close-In shot of the
Glacier "Calving" right as that Humpback Whale surfaced was memorable!
The background, lighting, and 'Sea Splash!' was excellent!
Do you mind if I copy it and make it into an Alaskan Calender?
Super imposed with Bikini girls?? Sounds Good to me ? !!!

Glad you are safe. Two flightseeing planes with cruise ship passengers in Ketchikan collided today. So far 5 dead, 10 injured, one unaccounted for.

Did the same ports in July but on the Grand Princess from Vancouver ending in Whittier. Probably had a Duck Fart at the same saloon, and also did the Yukon and White Pass train tour, and the Glacier was awesome. Saw a Lumberjack show in Skagway and after the ship docked in Whittier it was a 1 hour bus ride to Anchorage, which was not as expected. I guess we expected a 1 horse town, but not the case, Anchorage was a very nice city, even found a really great pizza place there, if you are even in Anchorage check out The Moose's Tooth, great spot. I agree everybody should try an Alaska trip at least once, you have no idea how big and beautiful Alaska is until you see it in person. Totally unrelated, but we also just sailed on the Norwegian Bliss the week after Thanksgiving, Eastern Caribbean out of Miami, fantastic ship, never a loss for things to do or places to eat.

Our first cruise was that exact same route on the Norwegian Wind. Duck Farts were not found.

We stopped cruising when the ships got huge and we discovered all inclusives. Wouldnt mind doing the Alaska route again though.

Sorry for the poor pics, our camera got "liberated" from our baggage and we only had an old film cheapie.

Alaska is the one state I have not visited. Looking forward to seeing it this summer.
